I am not a great fan of the color orange so I use it sparingly. In a room full of orange, I will become anxious, depressed and twitchy. What is that? On the other hand, the card is for my sister’s birthday and she loves fall colors: orange, gold, brown…
This is for her and it is appropriate that she has a fall birthday since she loves these colors so much! I managed to squeak a little in there just for my baby sis.
Our color inspiration from The Shabby Tea Room at http://www.theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com and our format challenge from Mojo Monday at http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com are shown here. (If you click on any of the images they will become a larger view.)

Let me hear from you!! The summer heat is over and there is much to celebrate today and for many days to come… share the love!
Your subtle touch of orange was ‘just’ enough, because I, like you, am not a fan of orange,,,but this works.
Well, surprise! I always feel weird about my “orange” phobia. If you have it too, its gotta be O.K!
Beautiful creation – I just love the hessian bow 🙂 Thanks for sharing with us at The Shabby Tearoom
Thank you, Fran. I had no idea what kind of bow I was making… I just made it! While I have your attention, is it Tearoom or Tea Room? I have the blinkie on my website and I think it says Tea Room. I have gotten other messages in the past that wrote it out as Tearoom, so I am confused.
Awww Thanks Sister Dear. So pretty. Can’t wait to see it in person. 🙂
