O.K. I said completely different, didn’t I? It is getting on towards Halloween but the truth is that I just loved the little statement and decided to do a parody of the more serious or mushy cards. This was fun!! I just had the right Tim Holtz stamps to add with the freebie stamp I got from Viva Las Vegas Stamps (see the blinkie at the bottom).
This card is dedicated to my friend, Pat, (you know who you are and why!). At the same time, we have the perfect nutcase to give this to when his BDay rolls around. I got the best reaction from my hubby on this card than anything I have ever made!! Men… makes sense, right?
Also used here is a Martha Stewart border punch (what would she say), two Spellbinders dies: Labels Four & Fleur De Lis Accents, paper from the DCWV Alphabet Stack, Black Soot Distress Reinker died Snug Hug seem binding, Victorian Velvet, Pumice Stone & Crushed Olive Distress Inks, Momento Black Tuxedo Ink, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher staples, Recollections roses with a touch of barely seen Stickles, and a leaf piece from my stash which I turned over from its lovely, delicate side to its plain side and stamped mercilessly with black ink.
Sooo, would you like one of these to tape to your bathroom mirror? Let me know what you think… I may be in a generous mood.
Ewww, I love it.
I’m trying, really trying, to come up with something clever to say in response to this card’s marvelous message and artistic presentation. But, honestly, nothing appropriate comes to mind…nothing that would do justice to the card, so just keep gnawing, girlie.
I love it Charlotte. Fit’s me just fine. I think I need to buy some just for me! I also loved the little bit of time we had together. At the very least, next time I fly through Atlanta, I’m going to make sure I have a MUCH longer lay over.
It suits me fine, too. Birds of a feather meet at the airport for a good time!
