Be Still and Know – MOJO254

For whatever reason, I had a difficult time with this card…  I think it might be the weather; rainy and grey.  But after a few struggles, I think I got pretty cheery and felt it come together for me.

This is for the Mojo Monday Challenge ( and I used the color suggestions from The Shabby Tea Room which were to use aqua, pink and cream ONLY and newsprint.  O.K.  Did that.  Now onto the rest of the story.

I used a number of Tim Holtz items; his Vintage Shabby paper collection and Distress Inks. I also used some Paper Studio paper, my Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangle dies, pearls from my stash plus the pearl spray from Hobby Lobby’s wedding department.  The gorgeous curly rose was from Lavish Laces and the elegant pink silk ribbon was from Stamp Simply Ribbon.  The sentiment was from Verve stamped with Momento Ink (Paris Dusk, I believe).

Let me hear from you, I really love to read your comments!  Blessings and Hugs, ya’ll.

About Charlotte Zweigoron

Married, retired, never been so busy..! One of my most prized possessions is my very own craft room! And, actually, all the rest of our home is built around that craft room. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been living in Georgia for over thirty-five years after a four year stint in Chicago. Crafting, reading and playing Mah Jongg with our circle of friends are my favorite activities right after spending time with my four grandchildren and four great-grandsons. Two of my three grown daughters and one of my two grandgirls live right across the yard from my husband and I. The youngest daughter, her husband, and our grandpups live in our same town. I have been teaching a paper crafting class for over three years and the ladies in the group have become a second family. We are well and truly blessed with people and critters to love..!

VERY nice. I like this one a lot.

  6. Thank you! My friend, Milu, had me put it on my Etsy site so she could purchase it and doggone if she didn’t buy two cards! We have a sort of mutual buying and selling relationship… she has a Scrapbook Ebay Shop that I went to long ago and she just reached out with a long-distance friendship and all the wonderful blogs that have helped me so much to learn this craft.. Crafting is like that, don’t you think?
