For whatever reason, I had a difficult time with this card… I think it might be the weather; rainy and grey. But after a few struggles, I think I got pretty cheery and felt it come together for me.
This is for the Mojo Monday Challenge (www.mojomonday.blogspot.com) and I used the color suggestions from The Shabby Tea Room which were to use aqua, pink and cream ONLY and newsprint. O.K. Did that. Now onto the rest of the story.
I used a number of Tim Holtz items; his Vintage Shabby paper collection and Distress Inks. I also used some Paper Studio paper, my Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangle dies, pearls from my stash plus the pearl spray from Hobby Lobby’s wedding department. The gorgeous curly rose was from Lavish Laces and the elegant pink silk ribbon was from Stamp Simply Ribbon. The sentiment was from Verve stamped with Momento Ink (Paris Dusk, I believe).
Let me hear from you, I really love to read your comments! Blessings and Hugs, ya’ll.

Hey, Milu, so glad to hear from you!! What a wonderful compliment! The card is in my Etsy Shop http://www.miniwonderfulthings.etsy.com
Just lovely Sis. Love the fleur de lis rectangles. I cut some for myself last time I was at your house. That is also one of my favorite psalms. Looks like your friend Milu likes it too!
Wow beautiful card! I’d say you got your MOJO goin’ Charlotte!!
Thanks!! Dropped in to your site for a peek around… Loved that card for the Sympathy Challenge!
VERY nice. I like this one a lot.
Thank you! My friend, Milu, had me put it on my Etsy site so she could purchase it and doggone if she didn’t buy two cards! We have a sort of mutual buying and selling relationship… she has a Scrapbook Ebay Shop that I went to long ago and she just reached out with a long-distance friendship and all the wonderful blogs that have helped me so much to learn this craft.. Crafting is like that, don’t you think?
Beautiful card!
Thank you so much for visiting my site!
