Welcome to My Garden – PDCC #140 and Graphicat #12

Just a little peek into the paper garden!  The medallion on the card could almost be considered a miniature, my second crafting love!  I haven’t done The Play Date Cafe Challenge in quite a while (www.theplaydatecafe.blogspot.com) and this is my first Graphicat Challenge (graphicatsketches.blogspot.com).  I have been admiring their sketches posted on Graphicat for some time now and finally decided to try one.  This is what we were given to work from:

Here is what I used in making this card…  Paper: Core-dinations, DCWV.  Ink: Distress Scattered Straw. Vintage Photo and Broken China.  Image: Seneca Pond.  Tools: Spellbinders Dies, Cricut Embossing Folder, Big Kick, Tim Holtz Distress Tool, Fiskars Cutting Tools, Martha Stewart Punches, Glossy Accents, Stickles, Jelly Dots, Foam Dimensionals, Recollections Flower.  Rosebuds, Daisies,Twine and Ribbon from my stash.

Here is a closer view of the garden.

While you are here, let me know that you stopped by…  I love hearing from you!!  Blessings and Hugs, Ya’ll….

About Charlotte Zweigoron

Married, retired, never been so busy..! One of my most prized possessions is my very own craft room! And, actually, all the rest of our home is built around that craft room. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been living in Georgia for over thirty-five years after a four year stint in Chicago. Crafting, reading and playing Mah Jongg with our circle of friends are my favorite activities right after spending time with my four grandchildren and four great-grandsons. Two of my three grown daughters and one of my two grandgirls live right across the yard from my husband and I. The youngest daughter, her husband, and our grandpups live in our same town. I have been teaching a paper crafting class for over three years and the ladies in the group have become a second family. We are well and truly blessed with people and critters to love..!

    • Entirely my pleasure! As I mentioned to Yvonne (Scrapbliss), I think you have the best sketches around!! I love the flourishes and detail elements that most other sketches don’t have. I will be joining you as often as possible!

  5. Ann says:

You know I love your miniatures. This card has everything! The shutters blew me away.

  6. Oh, gosh, I LOVE that miniature scene! I too love miniatures, and have a sweet dollhouse up in the attic. Thanks so much for playing with us at The Play Date CAfe!

    • My doll house is on the one wall of my craft room re-do that you can’t see on my recent post. I keep all my mini equipment (nicely organized) on that wall along with my granddaughter’s doll house. Neither of them is complete… works in progress. Eventually, mine will go on a shelf or a display table in my craft room. It is my inner child’s home so I can’t put it in my attic! In order to learn how to do minis, I took a number of classes and have several finished projects but now I feel I can go it alone and concentrate on finishing these two. Blessings & Hugs, ya’ll!!
