I noticed that my photo of the jar of hydrangea didn’t show the Glossy Accents very well so I decided to give you a little closeup of how this product makes the jar look like glass and, in this case, even looks like there is a little condensation on the jar. If you click on this little photo, you will see it in larger detail as is always the case with any photos on my site.
I also wanted you to see what “fussy cutting” is. There is a jar of flowers on the original paper. I took that little section from another piece of that paper, glued it to something a little sturdier and cut around the jar and flowers as close as possible to the edge. Sometimes, one just layers this onto the card stock (as I did in Cait’s Birthday card) or, as in this case, I used foam pieces called “dimensionals” to raise the piece above but right over the print on the original paper. Thus giving dimension to the object. I added the string that the jar hangs from, used the Glossy Accents on the jar and added my own little flowers and pearls to the bunch of blooms.
I hope this helps my non-paper-crafting friends. No comments necessary, just have a wonderful, summer weekend!
