The Mojo Monday challenge has been very much neglected by me of late and, just as I made up my mind that I’d do it and get it in at the correct time, a reminder popped up for my daughter’s birthday this coming Wednesday. Even more motivation for a special card!!
Caitlynn is the mother of my grandson, Sterling, who is in the Navy, and my granddaughter, Charlotte Jade, age 6. I have a photo of Cait when she was a senior in high school that looks almost identical to the little figurine next to her card and the lovely lady in the card itself.
Obviously, Cait is much older now but when my mother-in-law offered me the figurine (and one matching it of a little boy) I was ecstatic… it reminds me of that sweet picture of my dear daughter. When I found these papers, there was the same connection.
Happy Birthday, Cait! Here’s wishing you peace and prosperity and all good things!!
All of my papers today were from the Prima Romantique 6×6 stack. I used Ranger Glossy Accents, Stickles, and Distress Inks; Momento Ink, Diamond Range Flower Soft, Just Rite Stamp, Dies from Spellbinder’s; bling, trim and ribbon from my stash. And that’s all, folks!
I love to get your comments and appreciate the time you take to share your thoughts. Hugs to all…
beautiful card,I love the aged look and the yellow tones, the ribbon gave it final touch!
Thank you, Milu!! This was also my first attempt at sewing on a card…
thank you Charlotte for the kind comment, it made my day! You are a sweetheart, so sorry about the HTML coding, not sure what is wrong….I save to my desktop as well, I find it to be the easiest way to get what I want when I want it….lol. Your cards are stunning, the sweet details makes my heart flutter….I do luv the details. Hope you have a wonderful week!

As a designer I respect and admire, your words mean a great deal to me. Thank you!
I continue to be amazed by you and your creativity. Your cards always meet the level of excellence I consider YOU and your accompanying narrative makes the meaning of each card come to life. Thank you for your frequent on-line blessings.
I don’t know where you are right now… north or south!?! But your comments are appreciated. We should all be generous with blessings and hugs. Love ya, girl!
Oh this card is so sweet. Caity will love it. I see you did some sewing on there. How did that go?
Thanx!! It was easy-peasy! Next time I’ll use a more contrasting thread.
