I have seen a number of ways of storing Spellbinders’ Dies. One of them is to use magnetized sheets and create an album for the dies. I decided to try this. Remember, if you click on the image, you will get a larger view of the detail on these three photos.
After doing a number of pages (10 or so), I’ve decided I don’t have the easy access to the dies that I prefer. This may change as I get the album bound properly but, so far, the best part about the whole thing is the cover.
I grabbed everything I could find to embellish this cover. After all, it is for me… you can see it has my initials on it. For me, it is perfect. It combines elements that were made for me as gifts (my sister, Megan, made the brown, burnt-edged flower in the upper left and the orange crystal flower on the right was sent as a gift in a package of supplies from a favorite vendor); elements that were experiments that I thought turned out well (the die cut, colored, heated butterfly hugging the initial “C” made from plastic packaging) and a couple of my favorite embellishments down on the right… the pretty little birds nest and the charm that says “Be”.
Who knows what this will become if I scrap (pardon the pun) the idea of a die album?
You may notice a little change to my webpage: I now have a link to my sister, Megan’s, blog in my widgets on the right side of the page. Her blog is LongAgoDreams. Check it out.
I love to hear from you and plan to make a valiant attempt to have a blog at least 3 to 4 times per week. Send me a little love and encouragement. It will be deeply appreciated.
enchanting!
Thank you! I can’t wait to see more stuff on your site…
