Here is the card I created for The Play Date Cafe challenge this week. The color scheme for the challenge utilizes one of my all time favorite colors: dark blue. See the challenge photo as follows:
For whatever reason, I could not get my photo to come out really white on the parts that are white. It must be the difference between morning sun and late afternoon sun. At any rate this must be entered by midnight tonight and it’s not getting any brighter out there! So my faithful computer companion is home early from work and knows just what to do… Thank goodness.
The paper for this was from Paper Pizzazz, The Paper Company and DCWV Mademoiselle; stamp was Hampton Arts Studio G, ink was Tim Holtz Distress Ink, tools were Martha Stewart Border punch, Spellbinders Labels Four and Labels 18, embellishments were Snug Hug seam binding bow, Explorer jewelry rings and Recollections bling from the $1 bin at Michaels.
Let me hear from you. Your encouragement and responsiveness are greatly appreciated!
LOVE those stacked, die-cut frames and all your perfect, little embellishments and papers! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Play Date Cafe!
I like the balance you acheive in your artworks. Very eye-appealing.

This is beautiful Charlotte! I love the papers you’ve used and the colors are right on! The bow is gorgeous, especially with that delightful gem! I’ve finally broken into my pearl stash, I feel like I want to hoard them because I’m afraid I’m not going to find them again! Have you used any of yours yet? If your like me, it has to be THE perfect card…I’m still waiting for that to come along, lol! Have a great night and it’s great to see you over at the Cafe!
