I have a special request from my granddaughter, Jade, to send cards to her more often. She says they remind her that I love her and am thinking about her. She is such a sweetheart and I am happy to fill her request!
So, here is my latest effort. (It is probably time for me to change the name of my blog to something like “Cards for Jade” because that is what most of my content is these days.)
This card, as most cards I am doing lately, is inspired by the wonderful Graphic 45 papers and little else. I used papers from the Place in Time collection along with some solid color papers from Michael’s to put this together for Jade. My silk ribbon is a last little piece I found in my ribbon drawer and the dotted flower center is a wooden embellishment from Prima. The thin bit of black satin ribbon is from Michael’s, as well.
With so many wonderful creations found on the Graphic 45 Blog as my inspiration, this card came together fairly quickly which was exactly what I needed. I hope you enjoy it.
I appreciate your comments and thank you for the time you put into letting me know you are out there and participating in my crafting journey. Blessings and Hugs!!
Yea,Jade
This is my favorite back to school card that I have seen this year.
Thank you… This is a CASE of a card I saw on the Graphic 45 website. Same elements moved around to suit.
