I guess I’m going to go with something different today. My brother and his wife, Joe and Denise, have one child, their dog. They have requested “baby” pictures of my puppy and I was considering emailing them some when I realized I had a fellow artist in my craft room; my puppy, Sara Lee. (‘Cause nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee!)
When I am at my seat in the craft room for even a moment, she is nudging me with her nose or whining. This means she wants a scrap of paper. I give it to her and she chews and shreds for awhile and then comes begging for another. Eventually, we wind up with this new decor for the front and interior of her crate.
When she is satisfied, which may take some time, she is usually exhausted by her efforts and comes to sit on her pillow right behind my chair.
I always bring her crate in the craft room with her chew toys and her babies in it but she always rearranges things. In this case, she left one of her babies propped up at the back of the crate. I suppose so it could appreciate its improved surroundings and the joy of Sara Lee’s creativity in the area of home decor.
The other baby and chew toy were placed on her pillow by our little Picasso so that when she ran out of steam she would have company and a pacifier of sorts. She seems to take this quite seriously and doesn’t vary her routine but is not too particular about what colors she uses. She has never turned down a piece of paper I’ve offered… believing, I am sure, that true talent can make do with whatever is on hand. God love the little stinker….
Sara Lee is soooo cute! I’m glad she is creative, too! That makes her even more special. Can’t wait to meet her.
I guess you could tell this post was for you guys!! She’s ready for me to stop what I am doing and go to bed ’cause she’s sleepy…
I can’t wait to get in the craft room with Sara Lee. Such a girl! 🙂
After spending a week with Caitlynn while we were on vacation, Sara Lee seems to have made quite an impression on Cait and her neighbors. When I picked her up from Cait’s everyone said, “You manage to even make your dog prissie!”
Absolutely too cute for words!
