This week’s challenge photo was so delightful, I tried to be very literal about my take on it.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work and I had to keep removing things ’til I got to the card you see here amongst the basil in my little garden.
This is the challenge photo presented by The Shabby Tea Room for our inspiration piece:

Don’t you just love it! And here I was… sitting with the exact green and white trellis patterned paper for this project from DCWV Mademoiselle stack. Plus, I have my Cheery Lynn doily die!
(Poor thing… I am going to wear out my welcome with this die. Thank goodness two new ones are coming from my friend Milu on Tuesday. If you are interested in them, you can email Milu at cmdpound@verizon.net and ask her how she prefers to be contacted about the Cheery Lynn Dies since she has a couple of websites and an Etsy Shop!)
Add a little something from Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby stack and a dollar stamp from Michael’s plus a couple of other doodads and there you have it! Tea Time.
BTW, satin bows are very slippery to work with. I added a dot of Tacky Glue on the knot at the back to keep it from constantly trying to undo itself.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment. They are like candy to a baby and I always enjoy the kind words!

I think of those beautiful bows as your signature. Lovely.
Ann
Your literal translation of this challenge is a winner!……again! I don’t understand one aspect of how you do what you do, but I adore each final product!
So cute Sis!
