I ordered something from a vendor on Ebay or Etsy and they stuck a few mulberry flowers in the packet as a little “Thank You” (I always love those little surprises!). There was one flower that was the exact right color… serendipity and card making once again! Here is the image we were given for inspiration:
And, once again, my Cheery Lynn Doily die makes an appearance. Since I had used the middle of the doily for another card, I had the lacy bits from around the edges that I folded and placed beneath my Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers die cut and my serendipitous watermelon colored flower.
Supplies… Paper: Recollections, K&Co Jubilee; Ink: Momento Black Tuxedo; Stamps: Studio G; Tools: Martha Stewart Border Punch, Tim Holtz Alterations Die, Cheery Lynn Italian Flourish Doily Die, BigKick; Bling: Ranger Glossy Accents, Recollections skeleton leaves, Studio 112 gold dots and black no-hole beads from my miniatures stash.
You inspire me with your support. Let me hear from you!
The first thing that caught my eye was the ‘lace’ around the flower. Very clever. And you’re right, the colors are yummy.

Oh, Charlotte, your card is pure gorgeousness! The bits of doily you used from a previous craft look marvelous…how clever of you! I’m always amazed at punch/die cut techniques and this one is fabulous! Awesome take on the colors and I love the skeleton leaves in the background.
